This green field reminded me of the great poet, William Blake (1757-1827) and his poem, Echoing Green, ...and the days when I was younger and the memories of playing under the tree in my childhood...and it also reminds me that spring should be around the corner. Oh, how I hate the rainy and chilly days!

"The sun does arise,

And make happy the skies;

The merry bells ring

To welcome the spring;

The skylark and thrush,

The birds of the bush,

Sing louder around

To the bell's cheerful sound,

While our sports shall be seen

On the Echoing Green.
